Dan's Dream
“If I win the Powerball I’m going to pay off my friend’s college loans, donate to the Church, donate to Warrior football and buy you a house on the Cape.”
These were Dan's words as he held onto his Powerball ticket in winter of 2008. He wasn't looking to trade in his '94 Blazer or buy anything for himself. He wanted his friends, family, and community to benefit from his good fortune. Remembering Dan's dream, your donations help programs around Wayland that Dan was a part of.
Proceeds from the 2008 season went towards:
- Daniel G. Burgess Memorial Scholarship - Wayland High School
- Wayland High School Football
- The Adrian Gomes Family Fund
